Let's Get It Started

...so do I think I'm really going to keep a blog? Well, I guess I'll see! I don't really know why I would however because all the blogs that have fascinated me have been written by people in unusual circumstances, e.g. relating their experiences while living abroad.
I suppose there could be an argument that we are living through that very thing right here in post 9/11 USA. After all, it's hard to imagine that going forward our sociological condition will not be somewhat different than previously predicted ostensibly because of the attacks.
It would seem in fact that "blogging" itself and the recent popularity therof is a consequence of this new mindset. Aren't most of us really just wanting to reach out to someone or something for some kind of reassurance in these unsettling times? Hence, my own little meg of Webland.
